Still In Ohio

My family (parents and children) left early Thursday morning to go the National Track and Field meet in Indianapolis and left me here with my puppy to work on grad work. Although I miss their company and the great track and field, the time alone has been a god send. I began Thursday morning by creating my TO DO LIST. It began with an overwhelming total of 16 things that needed to be completed. I have successfully whittled that list down to 5 things. I have been able to make great progress. Although what I have remaining are still major projects, I have a small glimmer of hope that I may be able to do this.

Ohio

Here I sit in good old NW Ohio. The sun is shining; the wind is blowing; its 85 degrees and where am I? I've spent the day indoors working on our advocacy website. I've made progress on what needs to be accomplished, but my to do list is still incredibly long. It is hard for me not to be in class right now knowing that I am letting my advocacy cohorts down.

I feel out of the loop, and am panicking as to how I will accomplish all that needs to be done before next Friday. Wish I was with you all!

Where Has the Time Gone?

It is unbelievable to me that is has been so long since I last blogged. With the end of the year, Melanie's graduation and my health issues time has totally slipped away from me.
I can't believe that we are so far into this semester. I feel like we are so busy. It seems as if we are taking 9 semester credit hours this time, when it is only 6. There are so many different pieces of work to keep up with. Am I the only one feeling this way?

Week 2

This weeks class has been very insightful. I am completely amazed over and over again as to what can be accomplished on the WWW. The whole concept of blogging has blown me away. I have been thinking and trying to come up with ways to incorporate blogging next year into my second grade class.

I was also blown away by the RSS feeds. What an incredible way to keep up with what is changing in the world. It is phenominal that you can have a site that will collect all the information that you feel is important to you in one location so you can easily with a click of a button see what is changing around the world.

First Night . . .

Wow!!!

I walked away from class Wednesday night with my head spinning.

There is such an incredible amount of work to be completed in such a short time. I am excited by the topics that we are to cover this semester. I have heard a great deal about all of our topics, but I know very little about them. I can't wait to become an "expert". My daughter walked in a few minutes ago and was blown away that I was creating a blog. She couldn't believe that her mom was doing such a thing. I may be able to teach her a few things before the semester is over. That would be fun.
